Email Delivery Services

These services were reviewed on a prior project, as described here.

Subsequent to that review, Sendgrid announced that they are discontinuing their "free" service tier. Also, Mailgun now requires a credit card for an account (other than for limited trial use) - but the credit card will not be charged unless total sent email count exceeds 10,000 in a month.

Other information in that review appears to still be valid.

Based upon the review criteria, subsequent Sendgrid plan changes, and experience with Mailgun on the other project, it is recommended that we use Mailgun as our email delivery service.
