Minutes for Friday 19th July

Board updates

Noting that we haven't had many thumbs-up on the previous issues for approval, although they are quite simple, not substantive.

We may adjust process to allow for that, there doesn't seem to be any point in slowing down for these minor items.

#3975 - Ken would like to get feedback, to do with obsolete techniques. Currently the files are still there but not available externally so you get a 404. Please look at the obsolete lines for the pages linked to from the 3 bullet points (mainly the first 2, as the Flash/silverlight were already there. Patrick took it on.

#3961 - Think this should be closed as it is covered by #3975.

#3913 - Approved (sorry, missed conversation)

#2270 - discussion and updates to this, which is about text-resizing and when the author is on the hook for it. Then approved by the TF.

#3158 - one word change in the understanding document, seems fine.

#3938 - missing comma in the normative text, approved.

#3970 - Pat will review.

#3953 - Simple fix, approved.

#3947 - Adding a hover-states section to non-text-contrast. Seems like good text for this, approved.

#3038 - Adding definitions to various guidelines. Ken will do a build check. Someone else should do a visual check.

#2552 - Adjusting a test procedure, it got something the wrong way around. Good spot, approved.

#3956 - Adding a note to say that using REM and EM would both work. Approved.
