The library is still in early experimental phase. The API is solidified with every release, using the same principals as the jQuery lib.

When:

Shadow DOM is enabled for application developers
Three.js methods are adopted as Vanilla JS (== better performance)
Browser vendors start using markup tags to describe 3d elements...

then:

jQuery will (most likely) include a set of 3D manipulation in its core lib.

== jQuery Three will be deprecated :D
