Blockers: None

Today: Mainly back to hiring and non-SD work, may take stab at client issue #56 if I have time; Nina and Erik UX sync

Blockers: None

Heartsucker

Working on functionality to send replies. Failing CI, haven't done last bits of tests yet. Once that goes in, we can add functionality to store replies locally. When we make reply server-side we generate UUIDs, no sane way to keep track of replies locally?

Jaysinh

Yesterday: Not worked. Attended a family function.

Today: Continue the work of https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-client/pull/78

Blockers: None

Jen

Yesterday: - Built client deb package and installed in sd-svs AppVM following Kushal's packaging PR, approved that - Worked on file decrypt stuff, pushed up a branch that does that, need to write tests

Today: - Review concurrent API requests PR - Review reply - Write tests for file decrypt (some unavoidable overlap with two other issues going on)

Blockers: - None

Josh

Yesterday: merged refresh feature. working on message download/decrypt

Today: ^^ seems to work, now actually adding to UI

Blockers: None

Kevin

Yesterday: Support, reviewed Emmanuel's PR

Today: Prep for Qubes work, unbreaking Qubes -- then back to installing latest SDW master, test plan

Blockers: None

Kushal

Yesterday: Started with fixing SDW RPM packaging related PR. Reviewed filter UI PR, threading PR for client -- on Qubes. We're not grabbing stderr of proxy in SDK. Mike helped me to push things into S3 bucket for wheels. Added PR so we can download all wheels/sources into local directory; will update guide.

Today: (tomorrow) more time.sleeps review

Blockers: We should discuss PR #86

Mike

Yesterday: mostly infra (half day)

Today: more infra work; work on RPM hosting story

Today: writing tests for qubes RPC policies, then moving to provisioning

Blockers: None

Nicholas

Extended Discussion

  • Build infrastructure for all SecureDrop related packages (debs, rpms, wheels)

  • Packaging of securedrop-client (if time doesn't permit in this meeting, Heartsucker, Kushal and Jen should chat)

  • Heartsucker/Josh client work coordination

Conor: We need tooling for our packaging build logic

Erik: Before Nov 15?

Jen: Automation could save us some time now.

heartsucker: Don't know how to build packages right now.

Conor: Over next two weeks, lots of builds -- will be a lot more sane if we can automate.

heartsucker: have makefile, targets for different packages

Kushal: no more makefiles plz :(

heartsucker: one iteration up from docs, consistent with our other tooling

Conor/Kushal: Conor will open issue, invite comments from heartsucker, Kushal will drive creation of Makefile for build automation
