To import existing geodata into Spacialist database you simply click on Import. Within the Popup you select the format of your dataset from the left-hand column. Importing a specific dataset usually involves the following steps:

  1. Select the file you want to upload.
  2. In Case you want to Upload from a CSV-File you might chose the format of you coordinates (as Lat/Long in two columns or WKT in one column). For CSV files you will also have to specify the columns that contain the spatial information.
  3. Select the spatial reference (EPSG code) that your data are in (e.g. 4326 for WGS84).
  4. Parse the data end check in the small map view whether all data are where they belong.
  5. Upload the parsed data into your database. All imported data will be placed in the layer called unlinked by default. The association of geodata with entities from the object tree has to be done manually.
