About this project

VedAssist 2.0 is a Django web application designed to provide assistance for users seeking quick information on Ayurvedic medicines.

This is a user-friendly web application that offers features such as a symptom-based medicine recommendation system and a virtual Ayurvedic medicine store.

This application allows users to get predictions of ayurvedic medicines based on their symptoms and general details like age, gender and weight. Then, the suggested medicines can be directly looked up at the shop and can be purchased (simulation of purchase).

To purchase, the user must signup / login. The shop consists of all available ayurvedic medicines with description and prices. Users can search for medicines based on the name, description or price and purchase them virtually.

Inspiration

The inspiration behind "VedAssist 2.0" is to make Ayurvedic medicine information accessible to users who wish to explore and purchase these traditional remedies.
