Example Usage

Getting entity data

# Creating a rest client with appropriate REST API key
var client = new InRiverRestClient("your-api-key");

# Using api to get entity summary
var entitySummaryModel = await client.EntityApi.GetEntitySummaryAsync(10);

Searching for data

# Creating a rest client with appropriate REST API key
var client = new InRiverRestClient("your-api-key");

# Creating a query model
var query = new QueryModel
            {
                SystemCriteria = new List<SystemCriterionModel>
                {
                    new SystemCriterionModel
                    {
                        Type = "EntityTypeId",
                        Operator = "Equal",
                        Value = "Product"
                    }
                }
            };

var products = await client.QueryApi.QueryAsync(query);

Creating rest client with retry policy

using InRiver.Rest.Lib.Client;
using Microsoft.Extensions.DependencyInjection;
using Microsoft.Extensions.Hosting;
using Polly;
using Polly.Contrib.WaitAndRetry;
using Polly.Extensions.Http;

# Configuring named HttpClient with retry policy
var host = Host.CreateDefaultBuilder(args)
    .ConfigureServices(services => services.AddHttpClient("inriver")
        .AddPolicyHandler(HttpPolicyExtensions
            .HandleTransientHttpError()
            .WaitAndRetryAsync(Backoff.DecorrelatedJitterBackoffV2(medianFirstRetryDelay: TimeSpan.FromSeconds(1), retryCount: 5))))
    .Build();

var httpClient = host.Services.GetRequiredService<IHttpClientFactory>().CreateClient("inriver");

# Creating a rest client with appropriate REST API key and pre-configured HttpClient
var client = new InRiverRestClient("your-api-key", conf => { conf.HttpClientOverride = httpClient });
