- added/removed dependencies. new release needs new OSL - update workflow to pull down the updated golang version 1.22

This PR is to upgrade Golang to 1.22.0 in preparation for implementing autobumping.
There's a change to the test code due to Gomega.MatchYAML changing how they parse truthy and falsey values.
This also changes the set of Go package dependencies used in the project.
