I don't think these are the right changes. It doesn't look like you removed .DS_Store when I look at files changed. It also looks like you re-arranged some code in the command-testing and shifted the indent to 2 spaces instead of 4.
If you want to actually remove .DS_Store permanently, add a line in the file named .gitignore, that just says ".DS_Store". Then it will never be an issue again
