Welcome to the kpvbooklet wiki!

Installation

First of all, you need to jailbreak your kindle.

Then follow these instructions if your Kindle firmware version is under 5.6.0:

  1. download KPVBooklet package here
  2. unzip the kpvbooklet package and copy update_kpvbooklet_x.x.x_install.bin file into kindle's root directory
  3. update your kindle via the menu: Menu> Settings> Menu> Update Your Kindle * notice: DO NOT install via restart

For Kindle devices with a firmware version above 5.6.0:

  1. install the latest version of KUAL
  2. install KUAL extension MobileRead Package Installer
  3. download KPVBooklet package here
  4. unzip the kpvbooklet package and copy update_kpvbooklet_x.x.x_install.bin file into the mrpackages directory at the root of your Kindle over USB
  5. eject & unplug your Kindle, then click the Install MR Packages button in the KUAL Helper menu
