Mighty

The Mighty engine is a toroidal (doughnut) shaped cumbustion cycle engine, often refered to as a Rotary Vane Engine. The timing mechanism was developed by Raphial Morgado. Visit Angel Labs for more information.

Mighty comes from MYT which stand for Massive Yet Tiny, meaning massive displacement in a tiny physical size.

This model is written in C++ and utilizes OpenGL for the 3D graphics. Features include:

  • Select different number of vanes (hotkeys 2,4,6,8,0)
  • Change the speed at which the model rotates (hotkeys <,> and , . )
  • Zoom the camera in and out (hotkeys +,-)
  • Pan the camera around the model (drag the mouse or use the arrow keys)
