How to prepare STL file for ROS Rviz using SolidWorks.

Add Custom Coordinate System

Basically define your desired coordinate system here.

Save As STL

Choose Save As and select file type as STL
Click Options
- Choose Coordinate System to newly defined coordinate system
- CHECK Do not translate STL output data to positive space
- CHECK Save all components of an assembly in a single file
- Select Unit to Meters
- Click Ok
Click Save
