Our Story

We are all Burnett Honors CS students participating in our first hackathon. After some brainstorming, we decided to make a simple educational tool that showcases different polling methods (from first-past-the-post to quadratic voting) and displays the results in real time. Despite most of us being C natives, we had a bit of experience in Python, so we agreed it would be a fair common-ground language to build a more sophisticated application.

And then we built a thing, decided it would be funny to name it VoteyMcVote.space (the domain works nicely here), and released it to the world.
