Spiral Boilerplate

Spiralized Boilerplate for Chrome Dev Editor.

Installation

  1. Install Chrome
  2. Install Chrome Dev Editor
  3. Create GitHub account if you don't have one.
  4. Fork Spiral Boilerplate to your account.
  5. Change the name of the forked repo for your preference.
  6. In Chrome Dev Editor:
  • Select Git Clone... in the menu.
  • Copy and paste your forked boilerplate repo: https://github.com/[your_user_name]/spiral-boilerplate.git
  • Chrome Dev Editor will do the rest of the installation for you.

Editing

  1. Edit some files.
  2. Commit your work by: Right Click on project root > Commit Changes....
  3. Repeat 1 and 2 until satisfied.

Deployment

  1. Push commit(s) to GitHub by: Right Click on project root > Push to Origin....
  • Be ready to type your GitHub credential.
  1. Go and check your GitHub gh-pages branch:
  • URL: https://[username].github.io/spiral-boilerplate.git.
  • It takes few minutes for the updated content to be propagated. Be patient.
