pkgdown.as_is: trueis preventing proper and complete parsing by pkgdown. With pkgdown 2.1.0, there is now a mismatch between the math engine used by pkgdown (mathml) and by bookdown (mathjax), leading to non-rendered equations withpkgdown.as_is: true.
