A guide that will help you in your hikes with maps, tracks and GPS position.
Hiking Guide is a web app written in HTML, Javascript and CSS, and has been tested on Firefox.
It can show:
- Maps: If online, it shows maps from OpenStreetMap. And if not on a Firefox OS phone (security constraints do not allow to load external Javascript), it also shows Google Maps (physical, streets, hybrid and satellite).
- Tracks: It can show a downloaded track and its distance. It works with GPX and KML tracks. On a Firefox OS phone, tracks must be located in a directory called "tracks" in the SD card.
- Position: If GPS is connected, it shows the current position and the path and distance made.
Hiking Guide uses the OpenLayers (http://www.openlayers.org/), Enyo (http://enyojs.com/), OpenStreetMap (http://www.openstreetmap.org) and Google Maps (http://maps.google.com) libraries.

Hiking Guide has so far been translated to Basque, English, Spanish and French.
Hiking Guide can be run directly using Firefox on any platform in from Github (http://e-gor.github.io/HikingGuide).
On a Firefox OS phone it has to be installed (otherwise the geolocation and SD-card APIs cannot be used). The installation can be done from the Firefox Marketplace (https://marketplace.firefox.com/app/hiking-guide). The Github address redirects there if on a Firefox OS phone.
The source code of Hiking Guide is hosted on Github (https://github.com/e-gor/HikingGuide). Please feel free to collaborate.

Un guía que te ayudará en tus excursiones con mapas, rutas y posición GPS.
Guía para Excursiones es una aplicación web escrita en HTML, Javascript y CSS, y ha sido probada en Firefox.
Puede mostrar:
- Mapas: Si estamos online, muestra mapas de OpenStreetMap. Y si no estamos en un teléfono con Firefox OS (sus restricciones de seguridad no permiten cargar Javascript externos), también puede mostrar mapas de Google Maps (físico, callejero, híbrido y satélite).
- Rutas: Puede mostrar una ruta descargada y su distancia. Funciona con rutas GPX y KML. En un teléfono con Firefox OS, las rutas deben estar en un directorio llamado "tracks" en la tarjeta SD.
- Posición: Si el GPS está conectado, muestra la posición actual y la ruta y distancia realizadas.
Guía para Excursiones utiliza las librerías OpenLayers (http://www.openlayers.org/), Enyo (http://enyojs.com/), OpenStreetMap (http://www.openstreetmap.org) y Google Maps (http://maps.google.com).

Guía para Excursiones se puede ejecutar directamente en Firefox en cualquier plataforma desde Github (http://e-gor.github.io/HikingGuide).
En un teléfono con Firefox OS debe instalarse para poder ser utilizado (si no, no se podrían utilizar las APIs de geolocalización y de la la tarjeta SD). La instalación se puede hacer desde el Marketplace de Firefox (https://marketplace.firefox.com/app/hiking-guide). La dirección Github de arriba redirige a la misma si accedemos a ella desde un teléfono Firefox OS.

Un guide qui vous aidera dans vos randonnées avec des cartes, itinéraires et position GPS.
Guide pour Randonnées est une application web écrite en HTML, Javascript et CSS, et elle a été testée en Firefox.
Elle peut montrer:
- Cartes: Si en ligne, elle montre des cartes de OpenStreetMap. Et si vous n'êtes pas dans un téléphone Firefox OS (des contraintes se sécurité ne permettent pas charger des Javascript externes), elle peut aussi montrer cartes de Google Maps (physique, routière, hybride et satellite).
- Itinéraires: Elle peut montrer un itinéraire déchargé et son distance. Elle admet les formats GPX et KML. Dans un téléphone Firefox OS, les itinéraires doivent être dans un répertoire "tracks" dans la carte SD.
- Position: Si le GPS est connecté, elle montre la position actuelle et le chemin et distance parcourus.
