Overview

The scrooge project aims to expose the inducks database via a RESTful Semantic API. The main site in fact only provides a "human" user interface, not usable (at least in a robust way) by applications. There are scripts around that "scrape" data from pages, but they are very fragile and not very useful for broader adoption.

Further, the original data model is totally custom, not well suited for integration with external services. Recent research work on semantic vocabularies intended for general bibliographic data and specifically comic data allow for better integration in the world of Linked Data.
