This is useful for especially for older devices (below Android 13 the clipboard isn't cleared hourly) and those who copy sensitive information such as passwords to the internal clipboard from time to time.
Any app can access the primary clipboard and read its content, in older android versions there is no way of telling when an app has done so.
I tried to achieve the same end result with Tasker but it does not have a function to clear the primary clipboard, it can only set it to blank so when it is triggered there is a toast notification "Copied to clipboard" that appears out of nowhere in OneUI.
This is optional of course and off by default. The clipboard history is also cleared more at the retention time interval now and not only when the view is about to be opened
