Installation Walkthrough
- Go to the releases page and download the latest version of the installer by clicking the openXDA.Installs.zip link. The installer can be used for new installations or to upgrade an existing version of openXDA. For upgrades, configuration will be preserved across installations.
- If this is a new installation, download the test data by clicking on the XDATestData.zip link.
- Extract the zip files into a folder of your choice.
- Double click the openXDASetup.msi to start the installer.
- If the following message pops up, click "More info" and then "Run Anyway".
- Click Next.
- Check the "I accept the License Agreement" box and click "Next".
- Select the features you want to install. If you are upgrading from a previous version, don't install the database.
- Choose an account for the openXDA service to use. In most cases, it is best to leave these fields in their default values.
- Enter your company name and acronym.
- Choose a database to connect openXDA to. If you elected to install a database in step 5, this will create a new database. If you did not, then you need to enter the information for an existing database to use.
- If you are ready to install, click next to begin the installation.
- Congratulations, you have installed openXDA!
