The Uber Quick guide says to compile and run the example with these commands:

git clone https://github.com/CABLE-LSM/CABLE.git
cd CABLE
./build.bash
./bin/cable

But this fails as CABLE can not find the input files it needs. In particular, CABLE looks for the pft_params.nml and cable_soilparm.nml in the run directory.
