  • Configuration is now a single address, instead of separate address/port. If you changed the configuration before you'll probably need to reset it - the default is http://localhost:9595
  • Improve Firefox reliability (requires server v0.4.5+)
  • Strip potentially identifying data before contacting server

I'm now running a public instance of the server, to use it specify one of the following addresses:

  • https://as.luminous.dev (Asia)
  • https://eu.luminous.dev (Europe)

This release allows specifying a non-local instance of luminous-ttv; for example, you can run the server on a Raspberry Pi or similar and direct the extension to connect to it there.

Click the extension's icon to see the options. Requires a full browser restart for them to take effect due to the awful workaround I needed to get this working.

Note that this doesn't work in Firefox; setting a non-local address in Firefox will cause it to block all attempts to redirect, effectively breaking all Twitch streams.

Requires version 0.4.3+ of luminous-ttv, running with --address 0.0.0.0 so that it will be listening for remote connections.
