Streamline python calls in action.yml

Please describe the enhancement you have in mind and explain what the current shortcomings are?

Currently the python calls in action.yml are insanely long in-line python scripts.
This is allmost unreadable and even more difficult to maintain.

How would you imagine the implementation of the enhancement?

RnD a wat to make these calls shorter - in abst case just a simple function call like github_query.get_labels(repo).
This should not change the way the pytest calls work or make them more complex.
