Please describe the feature you have in mind and explain what the current shortcomings are?

Currently, Ayon Write + Prerender nodes can publish successfully with missing/incorrect "preceding nodes". This could result in missing timecodes or incorrect channels getting through without any flags. Most commonly occurs when updating the Preceding Nodes mid production.

How would you imagine the implementation of the feature?

A Preceding Nodes validator in the publish plugin. Could be separated into "Validate Nodes" and "Validate Knobs", but that may be overkill
