Filter properties directly in xsite

It would be quite useful to be able to filter variables when generating the site. For instance, if I put a ${project.version} in one of my files, I would like to see it replace by my actual project version.

Right now, I need to use the resource plugin over the site first and then xsite. It works but is a bit of a hack.

as said, Codehaus will go away, JIRA issues have alraey been exported. So if you want to refer something, you have to add it here. Officially JIRA Codehaus is now not even available anymore.

The reference was just for you to follow until it is removed for good. All the necessary information is mentioned in this new issue. Nothing was left on Codehaus
