Wow! We are astonished by the response to Beta 11 and are hard at work answering your questions and fixing ur bugs. Thanks for all the feedback, please keep it coming! Here’s the latest batch of improvements rounding out Beta 12:
Boarding
- The opacity you choose for the Light Layer is remembered and restored when switching between boards and when exporting. #549
- Fixed a bug that occasionally caused errors when undoing the addition of a board (new board, paste board, etc.) #656
Worksheet Import
- “Skip blank boards” is now optional #574 #573

Shot Generator
- Fixed a bug where a tooltip on Shot Generator drop-down select boxes was getting stuck #562
- Fixed a bug where adding a new board immediately after generating a shot for the Light Layer of the prior board would cause the prior board’s thumbnail to go blank. #561
- Notify artists if Shot Generator (and Perspective Guide) are not supported on their machine #626 #559
Exporting
- Fixed a bug where projects with filenames containing spaces were not exported properly for Final Cut Pro X #659
Misc. fixes
- Storyboarder now turns all music and sound effects off by default. Existing users can toggle audio in preferences. These melodious tones were unfortunately the cause of performance woes for some artists on slower machines, so we made them opt-in until we can sort out the performance issues. #593

WOOT! FINALLY YOU CAN USE YOUR PEN ERASER. Also pen pressure works on Windows.
Fixed some big bugs on windows.
- You should now be able to print worksheets on windows.
- Worksheet importing will ignore blank boards.
- Timelapses are now bigger in sketch sprints.
- Added character name to script dialogue insertion.
- Fixed a bug that disables Shot Generator if you don't have a GPU that supports it.

Emergency Performance Release!
We took a bunch of time to profile why drawing performance was poor on slow computers. We profiled and optimized a bunch of things. We also added some preferences to turn off certain features that really affect speed: Sound, Blending, Line smoothing.
Please let us know if you still see performance issues after disabling some of the preferences!
