I would guess someone has written a (python?) script wrapping the logging of the Java client output to trigger actions based on. It would be nice if that were posted somewhere.

Hi @mcoughlin, PDL is designed to execute external scripts as products are received and/or as an indexer catalog is updated. The resources below haven't been updated recently but should still be relevant.

An example python listener script is included in this repository:

Thanks @jmfee-usgs ! Looks like python 2, but seems illustrative enough.
