I'm gonna bump this just once. It would be fairly easy to implement, but I don't want to maintain a fork just for this. |

Hi, I'm a very happy user of uBlock Origin and I have a small request regarding the page uBO shows when a whole... page is blocked, rather than an element (this one: https://cdn.appuals.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/strickt-blocking.jpg.webp ).
The page shows either a "Go Back" or a "Close Window" button, I guess based on an heuristics of whether the blocked page was a sort of popup or a redirection from the page the user was interacting with. The thing is I often get the "Go Back" button for windows that are actually popups, which I'll want to close (and they don't have anywhere to go back to).
I understand the imperfect nature of heuristics and the tricky game of cat and mouse that uBO has to play, so what I would suggest is to always have both buttons in the page, so that even when the heuristics fail, the user can still choose the most appropriate action with the ease of a button click.
Thanks for your attention and for all the work on uBO!
