Minor request: it looks like core blocks main thread during bucket re-indexing. Because re-indexing can take a few minutes, we should probably not block main thread, and allow http requests to still go through (as to not trigger unnecessary alerts)

per @SirTyson this can be fixed by using the new HTTP server
