Howdy. Is there any chance of a new release soon to incorporate the changes, bugfixes and features committed since 2018? :) I've been using PlantUML for diagramming, and I've now got the bug for text-based diagram generators. :) Cheers, and thanks for ditaa!

Ditaa looks pretty rad, and hats off to @stathissideris for creating it. I'm really interested in adopting this tool for some more literate-style configuration. I'm just a little hesitant to go headlong into the text-based generation of diagrams with Ditaa after looking at the stale PRs dating back to 2016–I'm probably just missing some important context, but I thought this project might just be dead. I hope the maintainers are well, in any case. That aside, this looks promising, right?

I'm very much alive and very much demotivated to continue manintaining ditaa (the fact that I wrote it in Java is a major factor, since I've moved on to Clojure). I've been deluding myself for years that I was going to do a Clojure rewrite, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen! Because of that, I have proposed to Pepijn Van Eeckhoudt to take over the official fork pepijnve#8

What a Node.js rewrite? :-) Or at least Typescript...

Picking up this discussion again due to asciidoctor/asciidoctor-diagram#366
If you grant me push access on your repo, I'm happy to start upstreaming my changes. And fix the SVG CSS issue that was reported; @font-face without a src attribute doesn't make much sense.
If you prefer, I'm happy to make merge requests for you to review as well.

@stathissideris Do you see chance to add @pepijnve to this repo? It would be nice to see things moving again 😀

I don't know if the offer is appreciated, but I'd be willing to help...

I wouldn't be able to make any code contributions myself (Java is not "my thing":tm:) but I can read Java good enough to review MRs and merge things. Furthermore, I can help triage issues, respond to users, etc.

I've been doing similar things for the PlantUML-stdlib organisation and BPKG here on GitHub as well as for Pipeline Components.

@stathissideris This is your friendly 3 month reminder that the community at large is still hoping you'll see fit to add @pepijnve as a maintainer to get things moving again...

@stathissideris I hate to add a comment merely to "ping" but there are more issues downstream (for instance in PlantUML) that would greatly be helped by Ditaa moving forward...
