Feature request for remote connection Spyder 6.1

Greetings,

encouraged by @ccordoba12 in #22616, I have the following feature request for remote kernel connection:

It would be great if one could set the default path shown in the Connection file input field:

At the very least, it should be set to the current working directory by default. Browsing through deep folder trees makes connecting to a remote kernel always a bit tedious.
