I am trying to use the fastprogress package but it doesn't work with spyder-kernels.

import fastprogress
fastprogress.fastprogress.printing()

The issue is that sys.stdout.isatty() is false.

I don't know what to do about that because it's correct that our consoles are not a tty, i.e. they are not real system terminals.
