I am also working with Ubuntu in their new app-center along with others.
I am also trying to create an ecosystem of apps based on ubuntu yaru framework for flutter.
I recently created an app Menukaran which can be used to create desktop files in linux. This uses the yaru framework.
I have contributed to gnome-sdk for snaps, remmina, vscodium, brave, Snapcraft and many other projects.
