I am taking some time and refactoring the data model. Probably is going to break data sharing between ios and android versions.

If that's the case I think it's better that you release it as a different application, rather than a version of Space Dock.

I'm working to keep it functional, but I want to set appropriate
expectations. I also don't want to fork everyone's hard work and release it
as my own.

If you want to take this opportunity to split of android development I
understand, but I want that to be your choice.

I know I am definitely changing the data xml contract. I have no problems
maintaining that based off of the existing data.xml.

I checked with Chris and he's fine with you forking it and making your own version. I certainly am.

Would that be the end of space dock for android? Or would development
continue? I don't think the market needs 2 apps, especially with similar
front ends.

I certainly don't want to see it end.

While I run both OSes, I can't always use the same one. That and each has its strengths over the other and couldn't choose between them.

My only issue with iOS version is Apple making updates take forever. Android keeps up with the times.
