To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a new command
  2. focus the shortcut field
  3. press option + e

Expected behavior
It should show option+E but shows some weird character instead. It's because the keyCode is 229 instead of the proper one. It might be an Electron bug as it's working on the web
