USB Boot for Rpi4?

Hello Sakaki,

Any chances of writing this image directly to USB for USB boot functionality? I'm running a headless setup, and i just cannot get the USB to boot.

If I remember correctly, you need to have programmed the RPi bootloader in such a way that it will try to boot from USB.

You also need the latest bootloader. You can find it here: https://github.com/raspberrypi/rpi-eeprom/releases. The zip includes an README on how to update.

30 Oct 2020: sadly, due legal obligations arising from a recent change in my 'real world' job, I must announce I am standing down as maintainer of this project with immediate effect.
