<h2>What's the timeline? And how is this actually going to work?</h2>
<p class="lead">Trying to replace virtually everyone in Congress in one fell swoop may sound like a daunting project, but we believe there's now a way to do this by running a single unified campaign that all of America can get excited about and participate in.</p>

<h4>First, we propose this idea to the Bernie movement and to America.</h4>
<p>Here's the idea: Get a Brand New Congress by running a full slate of working class candidates in a unified campaign, behind a single platform, for virtually every seat in Congress. If enough people like the idea and want to work on it, then we're off and running.</p>

<h4>We're asking people who like the idea to hold house meetings to hear more and get to work. </h4>
<p>Through these meetings, we'll establish local search committees for recruiting candidates and future campaign workers. As we go, we'll recruit organizers so we can reach more districts faster. </p>

<h4>We'll make formal announcements when we have 10, 100 and all 400+ candidates. </h4>
<p>Each time, we hope that more volunteers, donations, candidates and campaign workers will come pouring in.</p>
<p>Our candidates are working people from many backgrounds and fields who:</p>
<ul>
<li>Are good at what they do. </li>
<li>Are proven servants to their communities, families, friends.</li>
<li>Have consistently passed on opportunities to sell out.</li>
<li>And, in general, have never held or sought public office.</li>

<h4>The slate will run a single unified national campaign to win!</h4>
<p>A national campaign for a Brand New Congress is something America can believe in—and actually pay attention to! There are so many benefits of a unified campaign: </p>
<ul><li>National and regional excitement for a Brand New Congress will get new voters to primaries and trump local Congressional incumbents who most people have never heard of.</li>
<li>Economies of scale in voter contact, advertising, direct mail, and staffing will be enormous. </li>
<li>Local staff everywhere will have guidance and oversight by regional and national leadership. </li>
<li>Candidates can focus on campaigning rather than worrying about campaign minutia. </li><ul>
</div>

<h4>We'll challenge incumbents in their primaries—both Republicans and Democrats!</h4>
<p>In blue districts, we run Democratic candidates. In deep red districts, we'll run Republicans. All the candidates will agree completely on the unified economic and social justice platform. The vast majority of Americans can agree on jobs, criminal justice reform and renewable energy.</p>

<h4>In districts where our candidates lose, an alternate candidate will run as an independent in the General Election.
</h4>
<p>This will give America a second chance to vote for a Brand New Congress—and they'll need it since many will only hear about the campaign AFTER their chance to vote in the primaries has passed. </p>

<h4>Govern!</h4>
<p>Hopefully, we'll win a super majority in the House and take a big bite out of the Senate. In that case, we'll pass our program in the House and rally the American people to convince their Senators to support it. It'll probably take another cycle, though, to get the majority we need in both the House and Senate. </p>
<p>As long as we don't have a majority, this is what we'll do:</p>
<ul><li>Stake out high profile battles over things that really matter to America: jobs, criminal justice reform, the environment and more. </li>
<li>Use our presence in Congress and our national grassroots movement to shine a light on entrenched corruption every single day, as the remenant of the establishment fights to protect their special interest patrons.</li>
<li>Never stop campaigning as a national movement for more seats until we get the super majority we need to make real change!</li><ul>
</div>
