Ideally this would be implemented as a button on the Front Page which would start a rescan; after it's pressed it will periodically query how many songs have already been queried, until the response again indicates that it's not scanning.

If we had a settings page it would ideally be shown there as well, somewhere related to the library settings where you could configure your folders. There are no REST API endpoints which can configure this at the moment, so that settings page won't be there for the foreseeable future.
