Part of SKOS ecosystem is that it is distributed. Other vocabulary services may also be exposed as SKOS using a wrapper over their API - this would allow skos mappings to be made to such terms.
This functionality would make skosxl a more general workbench for working with SKOS resources
Explore desirability, feasibility.

Possibly this is better handled by creating a mapping submission service - then letting external clients handle generating mapping suggestions in a better UI
