Need help to generate Db from Images

Brother, I need help to run this script to generate Db for Quran Images. Unable to run the script

what is the problem you are running into?

I have Quran images I download the project When I run ayah.py and pass image and ayah marker image it just generates an image and didn't detect the ayah

make sure the ayah marker image you are using is one from the pages you are using and make sure you are running ayah.py against pages with a white colored background.

Thanks, @ahmedre for your help but unfortunately I didn't succeed yet. Basically I believe I am lacking in compiling the code confused in parameters. Basically, I have a page and image marker but when I execute the script it does nothing and when I dig down the code it didn't detect any ayah on

the page.

i tried this out with your image and got decent results, matching all but 1 ayah - the 7th ayah - because the marker is very difficult to get due to touching other text and what not. what i did is:

• run make_white.py on your image - the ayah detection works best on images with white backgrounds (so usually, i do all my operations on images with white backgrounds since whatever values i get there will apply perfectly to transparent images as well).
• updated your template with a different one
