Describe the bug
By default to use the new login methog external we need q-masters/electron-vscode which should by default installed automatically with vsqlik extension. Since this will not installed no electron will be downloaded and auth method could not be used

To Reproduce
install vsqlik, see extension q-masters/electron-vscode is not installed

Expected behavior
q-masters/electron-vscode should be installed since this is a dependency

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • any
  • Version 1.8.0

Workarround
install q-masters/electron-vscode by hand

Little bit strange answer my self, don't know why this happens it is inserted inside the package.json as package dependency but will not installed automatically even if docs tells us it will.

Currently to use the new feature install q-masters/electron-vscode vscode extension by hand.

This will also only working with windows 10 / mac / linux since we need tar which is delivered since windows 10 to extract electron. Mac / Linux have tar by default.
