• Ch 19 (structured prediction) has been removed. The section on CRFs has been added to ch 4 (PGMs). The section on time series has been added to ch 29 (SSMs).
• Ch 8 (state space inference) has been removed. The sections on HMM inference and Kalman filtering/smoothing have been moved to the new ch 8 (message passing), to improve the flow. The sections on EKF, UKF have been moved to supplementary material (to save space). The section of ADF has been split between ch 14 (online inference for logistic regression) and supplementary (gaussian sum filter).
• Fixed many typos.
• The book is now 1283 pages. It is still missing ch 32 (representation learning).
