Reproduce by:

  • add an ecsSecrets entry with name app_something_something
  • deploy
  • remove the ecsSecret entry app_something_something
  • deploy

The task definition will still have the app_something_something environment variable defined

This leads to hard to catch errors if the app_something configuration expects not to have the variable defined.
