Why is there a difference between Brave. exe and Brave-portable. exe? #150

I set brave-portable. exe as the main program and open the browser through brave-portable. exe, which is a bit slow but generates "Date" data.
However, when other programs require the browser to be opened, it seems that the default browser is still "brave portable \ app \ brave. exe", which is faster than "brave-portable. exe", but Brave.exe does not generate "Date" data,

These two methods should be the same, but why are they different? It seems like they are still contradictory?

The portable wraps brave and makes it portable
The brave.exe is the regular brave app, meaning by running it you dumped data all over your system just like you installed brave

The default browser of Win11 only recognizes Brave. exe and does not recognize "Brave portable. exe"
Win11 seems to not allow modifications.
I want to use Brave. exe, can it have a date file?
