Current behaviour, description of the problem

Graphical applications cannot start on Wayland when using pkexec

Desired behaviour

Executing such applications with sudo -E does make them work. So I assume the solution here is for pkexec to keep environment variables.

Reproducer

$ pkexec nemo
Authorization required, but no authorization protocol specified

Could not parse arguments: Cannot open display: 
$ pkexec gparted
Authorization required, but no authorization protocol specified
