Best way to get a PR approved?

Hello! So, firstly... this project is so great! I remember the first time I saw the examples and was blown away :)

Where I work we are big fans of this project, it has made certain things possible when we thought all hope was lost. So thank you @lehni very much for paperJs!

But I have some confusion in contributing back to this library, is there a "best" way? I have put up prs in the past and there is no response. What can/should I do?
