Current Behavior

Session uses multiple packages which are quite old and should be updated to address security concerns / CVEs and to provide potential performance and bugfix improvements.

Expected Behavior

Session uses up to date packages.

Steps To Reproduce

N/A - see the various build.gradle files to see which package versions are in use and compare these to the latest available package versions.
