Can anyone send some examples of how to contribute ,like previous PR's and how to approach and change some codes on it?

First frok the repo
Open in your local machine
Create a branch
Make changes on the branch
Send Pull request
Then admin review the PR
If he/she accepted your PR then you can see the whatever you change on your branch you can see in the hosted website 🙂

Firstly, navigate to the GitHub repository of the project and see what new features or bug fixes you can contribute to the project. Then, create an issue and explain how you will solve this issue. If you are facing difficulty in deciding how you should contribute to the project then you can start by improving the documentation
Some projects already have a set of issues created and those are assigned on a first come-first serve basis. You have to comment on the issue telling that you are a GSSoC contributor and that you wish to work on this issue.
The issue will be assigned to you by the project admin or mentor. The mentor will also assign labels to the issue.
Once you've been assigned the issue, you can start working on it by setting up the project.

Start working on an issue only after it has been assigned to you otherwise your PR(pull request) will not be accepted.

Step 2. Open Git Bash in the folder where you wish to work on the project in your system and clone your forked copy of the project.
Step 3. Move to the project folder.
Step 4. Add a reference to the original repository.

Step 1. Create a new branch (Do not name it 'main', 'master' or anything random)
Step 2. Perform your desired changes to the code base.
Step 3. Track your changes.

Step 6. Go to GitHub. Then, head over to your forked repo and click on "Compare and pull request".

Yes you can make changes in that according to you and if your changes are helpful the project maintainers will review your PR and merge it. They will also assign Level labels to the PR according to the difficulty of the issue.

This video will help you understanding how to contribute.

First off all run the project on your local machine.
Check out the issues tab.
Pick one issue you find interesting.
If it is a bug try replicating it.
Then try to fix the bug OR if it is a feature try implementing it.
Then test the code.
Then create the pull request as shown in the video.

For contributing in an open source project or GSSOC 24, You first need to find the relevant click here that matches your tech stack. After that, go to the issue section of the project, check out opened issue or create a new issue if you find any changes required in the project. Connect with project admin or project mentor. Then he/she will assign you the issue.
If you get issue assigned, you can start working upon it.

1. Fork the repository.
2. Clone it on your local machin using Git clone command.
3. create a new branch using git checkout -b [branch name].
4. work on it.
5. push code in your branch using git push.
6. Raise pr and tag the issue along with it.
   And you are done with it. Let the project admin view your pr and then he/she will merge it.
