What/Why

What are you proposing?

Coming from #51 (comment), the technical charter states that the TSC may be responsible for "coordinating any marketing, events, or communications regarding the Project.". This doesn't seem very technical.

What users have asked for this feature?

@rbowen via #51 (comment)

What problems are you trying to solve?

Keep the TSC to technical things.

What is the developer experience going to be?

The TSC will never be responsible for marketing, events or communications.

What will it take to execute?

2/3 vote by the TSC and approval from LF

Just reinforcing here - I found it odd that managing events and marketing would be a job for the TSC, and am concerned that that would result in it not getting done. The current community manager, @krisfreedain , is doing a bang-up job of this, and while I don't know what that looks like under the new project/foundation structure, it would be a great shame if that stopped happening due to a belief that it's now the TSC's job.
