We've used Shareabouts API multi-tennant on a number of relatively high profile issues that tend to attract abusive submissions such as gender equality, and have always seen it as a benefit that visitors to the front-end have no knowledge of the back-end even existing due to the proxying of API requests and lack of link to the admin.
