“su: pam_start: System error” “sudo: unable to initialize PAM: Operation not permitted“ #640

New term started doing “session ended” apple terminal works but when trying to login as root it give error: “sudo: unable to initialize PAM: Operation not permitted “ and “su: pam_start: System error”
i can’t figure it out any help would be greatly appreciated
! ssh is not working either

This isn't really a issue with dopamine itself. Rather your profile is set for bash, most users would recommend you stick with zsh, theres some quirky stuff like that. : )

chsh -s $(which zsh)

If not found go into Procursus and install zsh.

thanks i’m using zsh now i got the session ended fixed but still can use su or sudo same PAM error, idk what’s causing it

Seems like you broke permission of /var/jb/usr/bin;lib and ROOT_PATH_NS itself. I had that error. Maybe one of the tweaks breaks permissions and changes the owner of whole jb folder idk. Check permissions or just reinstall jb.
